Teklium, a California-based technology company specialising in advanced digital security and artificial intelligence (AI), has unveiled EQC One—a groundbreaking platform poised to transform the landscape of content creation and digital talent exchange. By focusing on equitable distribution, fair remuneration, and robust security, EQC One serves as a beacon for content producers looking to navigate the often-treacherous waters of digital monetization.
The launch of EQC One highlights Teklium's commitment to fostering a more inclusive and progressive internet ecosystem. With the rise of dominant digital platforms imposing stringent barriers for creators, EQC One aims to dismantle these obstacles. The platform offers a comprehensive suite of features targeted at addressing long-standing challenges within the industry, such as exorbitant platform fees, limited control over content visibility, and heightened security concerns.
Creators—including musicians, filmmakers, authors, artists, social media influencers, and other digital talents—are invited to distribute their movies, TV dramas, radio shows, podcasts, books, articles, reports, music, and art directly to their audiences. One of the key innovations is EQC One's ability to secure sponsorships or commercial backing for creators, enhancing their financial options further.
At the heart of EQC One is a new economic model that prioritises the financial well-being of content creators. Teklium boasts that creators retain an impressive 99.5% of their sales revenue, with the platform charging a mere 0.5% transaction fee. Essentially, this means that nearly every cent earned goes directly to the creators, significantly reducing the burden of high commission fees that are typical on other platforms.
Moreover, Teklium offers all core cloud services—including servers, storage, bandwidth, and content delivery—at no direct charge to users or creators. Instead, service providers will be compensated in EQCoins (the platform’s digital currency) based on their contributions to computing, storage, and bandwidth resources.
“EQC One was developed to remove the barriers that have long prevented creators from fully benefiting from their work,” explained Jason Ho, founder of Teklium. “We believe the internet should evolve with modern culture and society, prioritising the interests of digital talents and the younger generation over dominant players.”
Innovative technical framework
EQC One introduces two primary components: its proprietary digital currency, EQCoin, and the transaction record system known as EQCertificate. All transactions within the platform utilise EQCoins, with each transaction generating an EQCertificate that meticulously logs the actual computation, storage, or bandwidth usage.
To further reinforce security, Teklium has integrated a “read-once” function powered by Emulated Quantum Communication (EQC) encryption. This cutting-edge technology ensures that once an authorised user decrypts and views a piece of content, the system immediately nullifies the associated decryption key. Should a file be accessed illicitly, it becomes unreadable once viewed by a legitimate user, providing a formidable shield against piracy.
Transparent discovery and accountability
In a departure from the hidden algorithms that drive many content discovery mechanisms, EQC One prioritises transparency. Content visibility is determined by user-driven metrics—such as views, downloads, and ratings—rather than opaque algorithmic filtering. The platform strictly forbids any manipulation of content promotion, ensuring that every piece stands on its own merit.
Additionally, EQC One enforces an accountability system where all users must register and verify their identities before participating on the platform. This requirement eliminates anonymity, making every transaction and comment attributable to a real person. Teklium asserts that this transparency will help mitigate irresponsible behaviour, thus reducing the need for intensive content moderation.
Ho concluded, "Digital privacy shouldn't be a luxury or an afterthought. With EQC One, we're making true digital privacy a reality for everyone while ensuring creators receive the fair compensation they deserve."
EQC One is now officially open to content providers, digital talents, service providers, and users eager for a forward-thinking, creator-centric digital platform. The EQC One app is available for download on both Google Play and the Apple App Store.
