Japan’s automotive industry faces increased competition from the likes of China, but at this year’s Japan Mobility Show in Tokyo, manufacturers were out to prove they still have their mojo, and more.
From adorable ‘Kei’ mini cars on the Suzuki and Honda stands, to upcoming performance models such as the Subaru STI, radically reinvented old faithfuls like Toyota’s Corolla, and rugged 4x4s in the mould of the Land Cruiser FJ, Japan showed it can still do what Japan does best.
