Salesforce, an AI-powered CRM, has announced the return of the Agentforce World Tour to Johannesburg.

The South African edition of this event took place in early June at the Kyalami International Convention Centre, highlighting the potential of Agentforce, Data Cloud, and Customer 360.

Attendees got an in-depth look at how a unified platform powered by AI can help businesses build autonomous agents that work in harmony with humans to deliver next-level customer success.

This year's theme, “Agentic AI: Unlock your digital workforce with Agentforce,” explored the emergence of agent-based AI as a major driver of business transformation.

With the potential to automate or augment tasks worth up to $6 trillion globally, this growing sector marks an interesting step toward a new era of productivity and efficiency.

Agentforce is Salesforce’s innovative digital labor platform, designed to unleash a limitless workforce through AI-driven agents deployed across all business functions.

Built on the trusted Salesforce Platform, it enables teams to concentrate on their strengths while AI handles routine and complex tasks alike. The result: enhanced productivity, reduced costs, and accelerated innovation.

Positioning itself as more than just a software provider, Salesforce is moving as a provider of digital labour, unlocking scalable capacity to address a wide range of roles and responsibilities.

Adoption of Agentforce is expanding, with over 5,000 contracts signed in the last quarter of FY25 alone, showcasing its growing global impact.

This momentum is part of the larger Salesforce Economy, projected to generate $1.6 trillion in new business revenue and 9.3 million new jobs worldwide by 2026.

Looking further ahead, Salesforce and its partner ecosystem are expected to create $2 trillion in new revenue by 2028, emphasising the transformative power of AI.

“We’re excited to return to Johannesburg, a vibrant centre of innovation in Africa,” said Linda Saunders, Country Manager and Senior Director of Solution Engineering, Africa, Salesforce.

“This tour is a unique chance for South African businesses to experience Agentic AI in action. With Agentforce, they can unlock a workforce without limits and lead in customer success and digital transformation.”

The event featured over 40 expert-led sessions, covering everything from strategic innovation and operational efficiency to technical deep-dives and enhanced customer experiences.

Participants discovered how Salesforce’s AI CRM, combined with Agentforce, reshaped their businesses and empowered their digital workforce.

In addition to engaging sessions, attendees took part in hands-on training, where they built their own AI agents and connected with the broader Salesforce ecosystem. Participants also heard from leading South African brands already using Salesforce to strengthen customer relationships, improve productivity, and streamline operations.
