There’s no shortage of AI solutions however only a handful of them are fully utilised. This is clearly seen when one looks at AI assistants. Now that AI Assistants have entered mainstream the challenge has been ease of access and adoption. It’s one thing for AI assistants to exist as online accounts, it is something else altogether for them to be there when you need them. In my experience of playing around with the latest Samsung Galaxy S25 I have found that this has been solved. The Samsung Galaxy S25 - Now Brief feature takes access to AI assistants to another level.
We’ve been used to AI assistants that act based on prompts or requests. Now Brief is truly an AI Companion that is designed to be used and to serve as an assistant.
In the morning as you wake up it shares a weather update without you even asking. It shares an update of all your upcoming meetings. As your morning progresses, Now Brief offers recommendations on where you can grab a cup of coffee or your favourite breakfast before you start your day. Later in the evening, Now Brief will offer you a selection of music, and maybe add some relevant health details regarding your activity.
As someone who does not have a personal assistant in the office, Now Brief experience has enabled me to have a piece of mind on how I manage my day.
In this fast paced world as professionals we need all the help we can get and the Galaxy S25 comes packed with all the right tools. One of them has been the Seamless Actions Across Apps. This functionality has enabled me to quickly move from one app to the other with a single instruction through the use of Galaxy AI. I’ve been able to search event venues and move on to get their location and thereafter send details to my colleagues based on just a single instruction. I’m convinced that this functionality has saved my time. This ability to multitask and kill two birds with one stone has been a wonderful experience for me. The one that stands out for me has been the Call Transcript. Even though the ability to record interviews conducted via a call was possible there’s now an extra super power with the Galaxy S25 Call Transcript. Through this functionality I’ve been able to go back to my call transcripts to remind myself of specific details of the interview. This functionality is a must have for knowledge professionals.
The AI tools I’ve seen in the Galaxy S25 are an indication of better things to come with Samsung devices. The ability to integrate AI in devices in a way that makes the technology is a major boost for professionals. The Galaxy S25 is packed with AI features that turn the device into a superpower. I’m of the view that future devices will become important companions for professionals and business people.
