Apple is gearing up for what could be one of its busiest weeks of the year, with product reveals and updates cascading into February and beyond.

According to recent reporting, Apple is preparing to unveil a major overhaul of Siri, powered by Google’s advanced Gemini AI models, in the second half of February.

This update aims to deliver the smarter, more capable assistant Apple first teased at WWDC 2024, including a deeper understanding of personal context and on-screen content, meaning Siri could finally handle complex tasks with minimal prompts.

This February reveal marks the first tangible result of Apple’s expanded AI partnership with Google, which sees Gemini integrated into Apple’s foundational intelligence technology.

While Apple has yet to confirm exact event details, the upgraded Siri is expected to be part of iOS 26.4, with beta testing starting next month and a broader rollout to follow in early spring.

A cluster of Apple news

What makes this moment especially notable is that Apple isn’t stopping with Siri.

A series of announcements and events is converging this week, which includes;

  • New MacBook Pro models  — Reports indicate that Apple will launch updated M5-powered MacBook Pros (14-inch and 16-inch) between January 26 and 28, bringing more memory and enhanced connectivity to its high-end laptop line.

  • Apple Creator Studio — In tandem with the hardware push, Apple is rolling out its new Creator Studio subscription service on January 28, bundling pro apps like Final Cut Pro, Logic Pro, and Pixelmator Pro for creators.

  • Creator-focused events — Invitations have gone out for an “Apple Experience” gathering in Los Angeles from January 27–29, fueling speculation of further product reveals, including possible MacBook Pro updates with M5 Pro and M5 Max chips.

All this activity underscores Apple’s strategy of front-loading its major announcements early in 2026, building momentum well ahead of key moments later in the year, such as its Worldwide Developers Conference (WWDC), where an even more conversational, chatbot-style Siri could debut.

Looking ahead

Beyond this week’s hardware and software reveals, analysts and insiders expect a packed roadmap for the rest of 2026, with more than 20 products rumoured to be launched across iPhones, iPads, Macs, wearables and smart home devices.

But for now, all eyes are on Apple’s announcements rolling out this week, and the February Siri reveal, a significant milestone in the company’s effort to reinvent its voice-assistant experience and reassert its position in the fast-evolving world of AI.
